Skin Rejuvenation with the Sculptra Liquid Facelift

Published on: August 14, 2017

Filler treatments can be an effective solution to lines and wrinkles, but there can be drawbacks and many of them are permanent so if you aren’t happy with the results or your face changes again, you need to get further treatments to correct them. At The London Cosmetic Clinic in Knightsbridge we offer the Sculptra Liquid Facelift to plump and smooth wrinkles all around the face without any invasive treatments as an alternative.

The Sculptra Liquid Facelift involves precisely injecting poly-l-lactic acid, a substance that has been used for over 25 years in surgical operations, as a volumising agent and to stimulate collagen production, which is needed to give the skin its elasticity. As with all our treatments, you will have a free consultation beforehand where we will assess the condition of your skin and discuss what areas require treatment and how much of the product will be used.

The treatment is non-invasive and requires no general anaesthetic or surgical equipment but we will apply a topical numbing agent to minimise discomfort. The Sculptra solution is then injected into the areas that you would like treated by our doctor and gently massaged into place. The treatment takes around 30 minutes and you should start to notice results after around six weeks. We recommend two or three sessions of the Sculptra Liquid Facelift, depending on the condition of your skin. As well as adding volume to your skin, it stimulates collagen production so your skin continues to repair itself.

Your results will last for approximately two years and the solution will harmlessly pass through your system as it is broken down. You can then decide if you would like the treatment repeatedly. We can treat many areas around the face including nose to mouth lines, the forehead and even on deep scars.

If you would like to know more about this treatment or would like to book a consultation at our Knightsbridge-based clinic, please contact us and speak with a member of our team.
