The London Cosmetic Clinic in coorperation with the world renow Hair-Transpalnt surgeon, Dr. Mark Tam, providing the solution for hairloss with the latest and most advance Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) Technique.
Receding hairline can age a person’s face while some may feel it can get them feeling ‘down’.
While there are medications and non-surgical therapy available to stop further hair loss, it does not restore what was lost.
A hair transplant will be able to restore the areas of lost hair and is a longer-lasting solution to the problem of hair loss.
Follicular Unit Extraction, more commonly referred to as FUE, is one of the two modern hair transplant techniques. FUE is a minimally invasive hair restoration option that demands skill and precision to achieve the best result.
FUE hair transplantation offers a solution to hair loss with permanent results and without leaving any visible scars.
These are the benefits of FUE hair transplant procedure:
Dr. Tam and his highly experienced team of specialist hair transplant extracts individual follicular units and artistically restores them to the targeted area, in order to restore hair growth. Thanks to our unique microsurgical method, the FUE hair transplant does not produce any visible scars.
For this minimally invasive treatment, our experts use nothing but sub 1 mm instruments (so no scalpels). This means the healing is much faster than any other hair transplantation method available today. The entire treatment is carried out under a local anaesthetic, which makes the procedure completely painless. You can return home right after the treatment.
Our team consists out of experienced full-time hair restoration professionals only. Therefore, we can guarantee consistent and natural looking results with regrowth rates of up to 90%.
Surgeons will first work to remove groups of between one and four hairs. These groups of hairs are typically extracted from the sides of the head or back of the neck, using a specialised extraction instrument less than 1mm in diameter. These follicles are then transferred to the recipient area of the scalp and implanted using a powerful stereo microscope.
We take great care to implant the hairs at the correct angle to mimic the old hair, just as it would naturally grow.
An initial consultation will reveal whether you are a suitable candidate for a Hair Transplant procedure, and should this not be the case, Dr Tam will happily recommend alternative Hair Restoration solutions.
A face-to-face consultation with Dr Tam costs £100. The 30-45-minute session will involve a thorough consultation, a medical assessment and a review of what can be achieved and what to expect on the day of your procedure should you be seen as suitable for an FUE Hair Transplant.
Dr Tam may recommend FDA Approved Topical Medications (starting from £125) and/or FDA Approved Oral Medications (starting from £132) to control the process of hair loss.
During your consultation, we will discuss the treatment and draw out the treatment area. The area is then measured and we can work out the fees based on those measurements. Finance example available, please contact us for more information on finance.
It can be hard to know if FUE is right for you, or even if you are a good candidate for FUE hair transplantation. One of the things that you need for FUE is a healthy hair growth at the back and sides of the head, in order to serve as a donor area for follicles to be harvested from. Other factors, such as hair colour, texture and waviness or curliness may also affect the cosmetic result.
The quickest way to find out if FUE is right for you is to book a consultation. We can easily help you with any questions, and determine whether or not you would be a good candidate for FUE.
FUE is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that is administered under local anaesthetic, pain is minimised and most patients do not feel anything at all. You will be conscious for the entire time that the procedure is administered.
There will be some mild discomfort during the recovery process, but this only lasts around seven days. The risk of complications as a result of FUE is also extremely low.
There is no one price fits all when it comes to hair transplants, and they can be an expensive procedure – depending on how extensive the work is. The cost can vary depending on a number of factors.
FUE is widely known to be the best hair transplant technique currently around. What makes FUE so remarkable is the way hairs are implanted: experienced specialists carefully map your hair growth before implantation so they know where and on what angle to place each follicle.
It’s an exacting process that takes a lot of experience and expertise, but we believe the result is worth it: with a successful FUE transplant, donor hair grows, moves and feels the way it used to. This is the highest-quality hair transplant available.
As this is your natural hair, just moved from place to place, it will grow exactly as normal hair and is permanent. There is no need for pills and potions, just enjoy your natural hair.

If you are not eligible for FUE hair transplant, Micro Hair Pigmentation may be an option. Micro Hair Pigmentation is tattooed on non-permanent ink stitches on your head to make thinner hair thicker. Also, MHP can be used to create a shaven look.
The number of hair to be transplanted depends on the size of the area to be treated. In addition, the number of grafts is determined by your hair structure, hair colour and natural hair density. For example, if you have thick hair, which is dark in colour and has a steep texture, you need more hair than when the hair is thin, dark blond in colour and curly. Our hair specialists can advise you during the consultation.
The effect of a hair transplant is visible for a lifetime.
