Procedure
At your consultation, you will be carefully examined by one of our qualified doctors who will discuss your personalised treatment plan. Before and after photographs are taken for your medical records, this will also allow you to see the results for yourself.
The treatment is done using local anesthetic, and is done in a safe, sterile environment, ensuring 5-star patient care.
Small ‘punctures’ are made either side of the face and under the chin to allow access for the FaceTite™ probe to pass easily under the skin, which is painless as the area is now numb from the anesthetic. When the energy is being delivered through the FaceTite™ probe there is usually a sound of ‘popping’ or crackling that can be heard. This is all normal and indicates adequate heating of the subcutaneous tissues with subsequent contraction. Once the correct amount of energy and heating is delivered to each treatment zone, which usually takes around 5 minutes to each area or zone, then a gentle liposuction or aspiration of fat from the jowls and neck is undertaken, if required, to complete the treatment.
Once the treatment is over, small plasters are applied to the puncture sites. Stitches are not normally needed.
A compression garment is then worn for the next three days to help reduce swelling following the procedure. This is supplied to you by the clinic and comes within your treatment price.
After three days the patient can cut down to using the compression garment just at night for the next two weeks. Swelling, which is normal, starts to go down over the next two to four weeks. Your doctor will prescribe you a course of antibiotics to prevent secondary infection.

How does Morpheus8 work?

What does the procedure involve?
PRIOR THE TREATMENT:
The doctor will review your medical history to ensure you are suitable for the treatment, medically examine treating areas to determine treatment sites and explain the procedure, after care, all possible complications and how to avoid prior the treatment
THE TREATMENT:
The 30-minute procedure is simple, safe and causes minimal discomfort and minimal downtime for patients in the doctor’s clinic. Numbing cream and local aneasthetic injection will be applied to the treatment area for additional comfort. After a small local anaesthetic, the doctor will apply the Morphues 8 applicator 1-3 passes on the skin at treating areas. The 24 coated pins at the applicator will penetrate into the subdermal tissue, coagulating the fat and contracting connective tissue and fat to to thighten and correct lines and wrinkles on the areas.
The Morpheus 8 skin tightening treatment can be used as a single treatment or combined with another procedure ( vampire facelift, Dermal Filler, Botulinum toxin etc)
POST TREATMENT CARE:
Patients must not touch or apply anything on the treated area for 12 hours after the injection in order to prevent infection. Specific after care instructions will be provided during your visit by our Clinic Coordinator
What happen immediately after the treatment?
As with any cosmetic treatment, some slight swelling, redness or bruising may sometimes be observed, but these effects disappear within a couple of days. Commonly skin may feel tight immediately after treatment.
How quickly will I see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days after the treatment , but typically after three weeks the most noticeable results appear as the process of collagen and elastin production to thighten the area naturally take a few weeks to complete. Improvements continue up to three months after treatment.
How many session required?
Depending on the severity of the problems. Typically 1-3 session, 4-6 weeks apart needed. The doctor will discuss number of treatment with you at your consultation.
What kind of post-procedure care is required?
Avoid touching and applied any cream or makeup on the treated areas for 12 hours. After that patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure.
Make up can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
