Following our move to new premises in Harley Street, The London Cosmetic Clinic is proud to unveil a revolutionary new skin tightening treatment for the face and neck. It’s called FaceTite – and in this blog post, we’d like to explore how it works.
What Is FaceTite?
Are you considering a facelift – but worry about the invasive nature of the procedure? If this is you, FaceTite could provide a solution. It’s a minimally invasive procedure that tightens loose skin on the neck, mouth, cheeks, eyes and jowls.
How Does FaceTite Work?
Also referred to as “Radiofrequency Assisted Liposuction”, FaceTite uses heat to destroy targeted fat cells and contract loose skin.
Specifically, FaceTite uses a small probe that emits radio frequencies to local areas of excess fat across the face and neck. The heat from the FaceTite probe then causes a deliberate thermal injury, destroying the targeted fat cells. This process increases the body’s collagen production, which then acts to tighten the skin.
Who Is Suitable For Treatment?
FaceTite is the perfect treatment for anyone who is considering a facelift procedure, but worries about its invasive nature. Typically, patients might suffer with “Turkey Neck” or sagging skin under the eyes and around the jowls.

How Long Is A FaceTite Treatment?
The length of a FaceTite treatment depends on the amount of areas on the face and neck that need tightening. Typically, most treatments last between 60 – 90 minutes.
How Long Does It Take To Recover From A FaceTite Treatment?
FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment. As such, patients can expect to resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. The areas of the face and neck that have been treated can feel tender for a few days after the procedure.
Are There Any Side Effects?
FaceTite is an incredibly safe treatment. But like with any cosmetic treatment, there can be temporary side effects. The most common is swelling in the treated areas, which typically subsides within a week.
Some patients can also experience numbness in the treated areas. Again, this usually subsides within a matter of weeks.
How Long Do FaceTite Results Last?
Results can usually be seen around three months after treatment and the maximum result at around 6 months. Then the result last smilier to traditional face lift which is 6-10 years. Your lifestyle can also affect how long treatment results last. That’s why we recommend regular exercise and eating a balanced diet.
