Botox V-Shape
At The London Cosmetic Clinic, we offer Botulinum toxin (Botox) injections to help to reduce a square or over-sized jaw, to help with excessive teeth grinding and to give the lower face a more pleasing shape. A square jaw, whilst attractive in men, is not a desirable feature for women as it makes the face lose its feminine appearance. Using Botox injections to weaken the corner part of the masseter muscles (the muscles at the side of your jaw, you can feel when you clench your teeth) is a non-surgical alternative to more invasive measures, which previously were the only options available for creating more of a V shape to the lower face. The beauty of V shape with Botox is that the cheek bones become more prominent and give a more feminine and youthful look to the entire facial appearance.
FaceTite™
FaceTite™ is an advanced facial contouring and skin tightening treatment. It provides a dramatic improvement for skin laxity and sagging on the face and neck and is superb for re-sculpting the jawline and removing a double chin. The treatment itself is performed under a local anaesthetic for your comfort. It’s minimally invasive and is a walk-in-walk out procedure with no overnight hospital stay or general anaesthetic required. A very fine cannula is inserted under the skin. Bipolar radio-frequency (RF) is used to heat underneath the skin and in to the fatty tissue beneath. This tightens the skin and encourages new collagen and elastin production in the weeks that follow. A light liposuction can be combined with the RF technology to remove some liquified fat to speed up the results.
The results from FaceTite™ are very similar to a surgical mini-face or neck lift but with no scars, no sutures and no need for incisions. The results can be seen both immediately and progressively over the course of around 6 months following the procedure. You’ll need to wear a compression garment after your treatment for around 3 days and then night times only for 2 weeks afterwards. Any swelling should start to go down after 2 to 4 weeks, when you can then return to the clinic for a follow up appointment.
Morpheus8
Morpheus8 is the most powerful and deepest subdermal fractional micro-needling and RF treatment technology around today. It offers superior skin tightening, lifting and contouring for sagging skin and a lax jawline. This innovative and highly-effective skin tightening procedure restores the natural collagen and elastin production within the dermis. Morpheus8 microneedles penetrate deeper than any other RF microneedling device on the market and is FDA approved for safety and efficacy. The Morpheus8 will treat all skin types but without causing harm to the surrounding tissues such as the dermis.
The treatment itself takes around 30 minutes and is simple, safe and causes minimal discomfort, as a topical or injectable anaesthetic will be applied prior to the treatment. Once this has taken effect, the Morpheus8 applicator will be passed over the lower facial area concern up to 3 times. 24 coated pins will penetrate in to the subdermal tissue, coagulating fat and contracting connective tissues to sculpt, tone and lift the skin. Morpheus8 can be used as a stand-alone treatment or combined with therapies such as platelet-rich-plasma injections, dermal fillers and Botox injections.
Visible results can be seen within a few days of the Morpheus8 treatment. However, optimum results will appear around 3 weeks after the procedure. This is because new collagen and elastin takes a few weeks to tighten and tone the area. Improvements continue around 3 months post-procedure.
