What happens during a Morpheus 8 treatment at The London Cosmetic Clinic?
After you have completed some standard consent forms and have been made comfortable in one of our treatment rooms, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to your skin, 45 minutes prior to your Morpheus 8 procedure. Once your skin is numb, the hand-held device will then be placed over your skin on the areas of concern. You might feel some tightening, warming and tingling of the skin, but this is entirely normal and should not be painful. The treatment takes around 30 minutes, after which, you can return to your daily activities without having to take any time off work.
You may, however, experience some redness of your skin for around five days, post-treatment. It’s advisable to wear a high-factor SPF, avoid saunas, steam rooms and hot baths and stay out of the sun as much as possible, in the days after your procedure.
