Here at The London Cosmetic Clinic, two of our most in demand non-surgical cosmetic procedures are semi-permanent makeup and wrinkle injections. Both of these are great for boosting self-esteem in men and women, tackling problems that may be knocking your self-confidence. Everyone wants to feel great, and these treatments help you to get there!
To give you an insight into both of these procedures, we’ve put together a little bit on each so you can see if they’re right for you.
Semi-Permanent Makeup
Semi-permanent makeup is essentially what it says on the tin. Makeup is used to enhance and perfect features, which is exactly what this treatment does! It can be used on eyebrows, lips, eyes and skin to free you from the burden of applying makeup everyday (we know how time consuming that is) and make you feel more confident in yourself 24/7.
Our semi-permanent makeup in London is applied by skilled professionals who have plenty of practice in this area. We use the process of micro-pigmentation, which is basically applying very small amounts of pigment directly into the dermal layers of the skin, almost like a tattoo.
Our eyebrow semi-permanent makeup fills in your brows, adding natural shape, colour and definition to what you’ve got. This in turn lifts the eye area and shapes the face, completely transforming how you look.
Eye enhancements can be used to add a liner effect (just as you’d do yourself with liquid or pencil liner) or an understated shadow. This emphasises your eyes and creates the illusion of thicker eyelashes.
Semi-permanent makeup for lips can be used to add colour, define the area for a more youthful, plump look and even out slightly asymmetrical lips.
Semi-permanent makeup can also be used to help cover scars and areas of skin pigmentation or restore areolas and nipples.
Wrinkle Injections
Our Botox injections are a great way to treat wrinkles, particularly due to their temporary nature, allowing you full control over the procedure even after it’s done. Essentially, Botox relaxes muscle tissue which reduces the appearance of lines caused from facial movement. It’s one of the fastest ways to look younger and have clearer, smoother skin!
Lip injections using Botox can combat a wealth of issues include fine lines and wrinkles around the mouth (including those caused by smoking), nose to mouth or mouth to chin lines and drooping corners of the lips.
On other areas of the face, we can also reduce the appearance of frown and forehead lines and crows feet (wrinkles around the edges of the eyes). The procedure is quick, non-permanent and a topical numbing agent can be applied to keep any discomfort to a minimum, though it is relatively painless.
