Laser treatments for warts and verrucae

Laser treatment for warts and verrucae utilises a clinical device which offers a highly targeted beam of laser light, which is aimed at the skin lesion. This laser beam heats up the blood vessels which destroys the blood supply to the wart. This in turn, starves the wart of blood and nutrients, so it dies and fall off naturally within 1 to 2 weeks. The laser’s heat may also attack the virus that causes the wart. This method usually requires a couple of treatments to be most effective.
