Contouring with makeup using shading and highlighting has been a massive beauty trend, especially with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and YouTube beauty vloggers showing off their techniques. Even with these visual illusions created by makeup, it can be hard to get the face shape and definition that you truly desire. At the London Cosmetic Clinic, we can enhance and define your chin, cheeks and cheekbones with the use of safe, biodynamic derma fillers that are based on Hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the body so highly unlikely to cause any  allergic reactions.

Much like having your hair cut, it’s a good idea to collect images of cheek and chin shapes you really like, but bear in mind that you won’t look exactly like your favourite celebrity after your procedure! We work with your facial structure and desired results to decide on how much filler to use and wear to inject it. Our therapist uses tiny amounts of filler in each spot and then massages it to create a natural looking result.

Our cheek and chin enhancements can help make your cheekbones look more prominent as well as helping to define a more diminutive jaw line and lifting the cheeks to give a youthful effect.

Straight after the procedure your face may feel slightly puffy but this subsides and you will see the final result within 3 to 4 weeks. Remember not to touch your face or apply makeup for at least 6 hours after the treatment to prevent infection and try to sleep on your back for a few nights. You will soon be able to enjoy your new facial silhouette and boosted cheekbones and say ‘bye bye’ to your contour kit!

Facial Sculpting with Derma Fillers

In a word- yes! Much like other areas of your body, your ears can suffer wear and tear; not only can they become stretched when weighed down by heavy earrings, the skin also thins with age and skin damage, for example, from excess UV exposure damaging the collagen. This leads to longer, thinner and droopy looking earlobes which can make people feel self-conscious.

At the London Cosmetic Clinic we can offer a minor surgical procedure that repairs damaged earlobes and helps to restore their previous appearance. This treatment is suitable for earlobes that have been stretched and elongated as well as enlarged ear piercing holes. A local anaesthetic is administered before a small amount of skin is removed from the edges of the damaged earlobe to ‘freshen’ it. The earlobe is then gently stitched together and covered with a small bandage which you can remove after a couple of hours.

This procedure is performed in-house and you are free to go home once it is completed. You will need to apply an antibiotic cream until the stitches are removed as well as cleaning the area with a saline solution. From then on you will need to keep your earlobes clean and dry until they are completely healed. This helps to reduce the risk of infection and scarring. It is also advised that you avoid getting your earlobes wet for 3 to 4 days after treatment so you will not be able to wash your hair during this period.

The treated area may feel hard but the skin will soften as it heals. If you want to re-pierce  your ears, you should wait at least 6 months after the treatment. There may be a tiny scar but this will be barely visible if you take care of your earlobes after the treatment. Misshapen earlobes can look unsightly and add years to your appearance but with our earlobe repair treatment you can sweep your hair up with confidence again.
